White Beauty

Welcome to Scandinavia moist with nostalgia! Welcome to our party! Let’s raise our glasses to Scandinavia!

White Beauty is a Nordic collaboration about radicalization that displays and deconstructs Scandinavian images and landscapes. The performance plunges into Nordic traditions and into the emotionally loaded rhetoric and aesthetics that feed current radicalization processes in Scandinavia. It makes visible the structures where radicalisation can take place.

In White Beauty we party hard, play games and get drunk off Scandinavia. Entertainment is mixed with awkwardness and serenity with self-satisfaction. ”Hygge” can leave a bad taste in the mouth.
